  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese blend
  • 1/2 cup honey Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven:Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    Pound the Chicken:Pound the chicken breasts lightly to an even thickness for consistent cooking.
    Marinate the Chicken:Brush the chicken breasts generously with honey mustard sauce and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) in the refrigerator.
    Add Toppings:Place the marinated chicken in a baking dish. Top with crumbled bacon, sautéed mushrooms, and shredded cheese.
